Session Management
Manage your login sessions and sign out.
Current Session
View your active session:
- Click your profile in the sidebar
- Select Settings
- Find the Sessions section
You'll see:
- Your signed-in email
- Connection status (online/offline)
Logging Out
To sign out of Handrive:
- Click your profile in the sidebar
- Select Logout
- Confirm if prompted
After logging out:
- You return to the login screen
- Your local shares remain on disk (files aren't deleted)
- You'll need to sign in again to access Handrive
Multiple Devices
You can be signed into Handrive on multiple devices simultaneously:
- Each device has its own session
- Shares sync across devices
- Logging out on one device doesn't affect others
Session Security
Security Tips
- Log out when using shared computers
- Don't stay signed in on devices you don't control
- If you suspect unauthorized access, log out and change your Google/email password
Reconnecting
If you see "Offline" or "Reconnecting" status:
- Check your internet connection
- Wait for automatic reconnection
- Try logging out and back in if issues persist
